Currently Rerolling

My third attempt at FE Heroes after a long hiatus. Stopped the first time because I ran out of free orbs, the last time because I started spending money on the game and didnt feel good about it - it somehow ruined the experience for me. It wasnt really about the money spent, though I believe its definitely a waste, its more about that that p2p model, takes away the challenge and makes 5* pulls much less satisfying. When I was f2p almost any 5* pull was satisfying, p2p just didnt feel right for me.

Still I believe its a fun game especially after several updates and I want back in!

I am currently rerolling and hope to get something good during Hero Fest. This time its f2p forever, no matter what!

I have basically changed my attitude towards this game - less ambitious for sure. I remember getting emotional about bad pulls, pity rates, wasting orbs, not getting the units I wanted etc.

My strategy for now is to roll a nice account with at least on Ike and hopefully Julia and Ninian. After that I think I will spend 15 orbs (or less) on each and every banner and be content with what I get. No more than one full summon per banner will be my rule to avoid any high pity rates that make me summon more.

And like you say, the current updates are way more user friendly.

Got myself two days off from work tomorrow and friday - just for the rerolling process. Cant wait to get back into game - rerolling can be a bitch though since nintendo didnt give a 20orbs reward for the gauntlet.

You need to have max castle upgrade and set a traning team with a dancer. Try to make that unit kill most in a map. Levelling up to 20 takes like 5 minutes maximum

 

So glad I learned today that you can re-reroll the training stratum - so much more effective. Other than that 4-5 levels higher wouldnt have been possible for me.
